This was the game I did with the Children for ST. Senior did well and loved it. Junior not so much. Which is funny since I thought it would be too young for senior and junior would love it.
Anyway for senior it involved punching through the tissue paper and retrieving a scripture linked to a picture from the GAPK. The child would then read the scripture while showing the chorister the picture. The chorister had to guess which song I chose from the Children's song book. We called it "Stump Brother "M********". The kids loved it.
It was called "Primary Punch-Out for Junior ST. Again the child would punch but this time retrieve a symbol such as a butterfly or a lamb. Then the child would match it with a symbol on the board. On back of the page with the symbol was a GAPK picture. The child would hold up the picture while I talked about it for a few seconds and then we would sing the song that went with the picture/scripture. BOMBED big time.
But... it's over and I will try harder next time to have Junior do something a little more active for all of the children.

I love Primary Punch-Out! Super Cute. I'm so stealing it. I think it's so funny that it worked for the older kids and not the younger ones. You just never know what's going to happen when you work with short people. I bet Brother M***** thought it was the best ST ever!
It looks so cute. It's too bad the younger ones didn't quite get it. Maybe different stuff inside next time. I wish I had thought of this when I was in Primary. You are so creative and really quite amazing.
I'm totally stealing this idea for my sunbeams class.... especially for the "I'm Thankful for Insects" lesson...
Hey!! I am sure it didn't Bomb!!! It was so great in Senior!!! We loved it!
